So whenever I get to see her, like for me, I have to- like, be like "You know what? She's doing her own thing, and I'm doing my own thing, and when we come together, we come together." And it- and it- and it's amazing thing and I always just have to remember that
My mom tells me often that it's- it's that they work- actively work on their relationship everyday and they've been married for 35 years
It is a daily, daily challenge. Compassion and empathy for people and where they come from and what they learned and who they are in the current moment is humongous in being in a relationship with someone
