A Memorable Suicide - Matthew Spencer
Yeah
Here we go again for the seventh time
Hand grenades pull the pin out every line
It's too late but I'm prepared to meet the other side
Life's too short to worry about the divine
I once wore the crown
But I had to give it up
Don't you know I'll never drown
When I'm the one to fill the cup
You think you're sandpaper cause you made it rough
But you don't know you're the one that helped me rise above
Call it a rescue give a little refuge
Cause I'm from a land where the blind lead the blind
Molded like play-doh till hearts are tornadoes
Wrecking havoc on my life till I fly
What can I say that'll make you believe that
I'm never really that far out of sight
Never hit the comedown never driving southbound
Drive around the wall finding peace of mind

(I'm) sick of the grandiose
Beginnings are always so simple
Let's make another ghost
And live our life of legacy
We will repeat the fall
Beginnings were always so simple
We're human after all
So write the book of memories
Memories
