There was a time when I was searching for the Lord
Didn’t know which way to turn, I was going back and forth
Had to rest my weary legs, fatigue was setting in
Then right there I heard a voice say, “I come to give you rest”

Then right there I realised God was by my side
He wanted to be the, guide of my life
So I put my hands in His hands and let Him lead the way
Since that time we’ve been together, to this very day
