If God Built the Building Crabb Family

If I'd listened to what some people said
I'd turned back long ago
They said I'd never see it through
I'd never make it I was told
But I know in whom I've trusted
He is my dearest friend
I'll never turn back or retreat
I'll stand firm 'til the end

If God built the building
Be sure it will stay
He placed it on a cornerstone
That never will give way
Guarded by His angels
Strengthened by His hand
If God built the building

So many say they're Christians
But they're following their own plan
Day and night they labor
But they're building on the sand
They've trusted in religion
And doctrines made by man
But the church was built from Calvary's cross
And on that rock it stands
