Seen old Luther standing in the door way, I gave that boy a shout

But I looked into his case must've been fifteen bucks

Seen a man stomping the hood of his Coupe Deville
Had that bible in his hand and a look that could kill
I stopped dead in my tracks thought I could ease on around
But he jumped off that hood and he called me down

So I just kept on walking to my ex-girlfriend's house
Been a couple months since it all went south
I jumped up on her porch naw ain't gonna quit
Gonna knock on that door till my baby answers it
