The Benthic Zone I Remember 2006

Here I find myself
Where light is deteriorating
Darkness is growing
And I'm being led through tunnels
As the dark blue is waving around the windows
And I feel their hands on my shoulders
Urging me to go further

I see television screens turned on
They're glowing through the darkness
Information on the life outside
Is all that it's broadcasting

I hear the water bubbling outside
As the waves are moving around
And they lead me deeper into the darkness
Somewhеre new, they say
A nеw zone in the base
And the dark is wrapping around me
All I can hear is low breathing
Hearts beating of the guards
Did something just swim past that window?

And we reach this new zone
And panic is sinking in
I don't want to go deeper into the darkness
Don't bring me to the benthic zone
