The black rose settles upon the cracked skull of a wounded bird
The bird grabs the rose with its beak and flies to the heavens
As you were relaxing in front of your television screen
Remembering the days when you weren't alone
And in the back of your house your dog barks
But you're too lazy to feed it
And above the ocean a ship tosses and turns
Until it capsizes and the crew aimlessly swims amongst the waves
