As Jesus was passing by one day
Martha invited Him in
Many preparations had to be made
All day to get ready for them
As Mary sat down at Jesus' feet
Martha began to groan
"Don't you care that I've had to work so hard?
Mary left me to do this alone"

As Jesus begun to speak to them
He turned to Martha instead
Saying, "Mary has chosen well, my friend
By listening to what I've said
You're worried and upset about many things
But, Martha, you need to know
It's not always what you do in life
But what you learn that matters so"

Let the little things go
Let the little things go
You can't work all day
Sleep all night
And learn what you need to know
You've got to take some time
To make some time
And then, take it slow
Do what you can do
