White lightning in the wind
A flood came rushing in

All that time wasted in a wasteland
Was it part of the plan

Looking back, it all makes perfect sense
Sunshine outta misery
Yesterday's memories
I'm not saying we're all the same
But I had to get lost to find my way

Like a burned out set of matches
I was run down and ragged
Unravelling at the seams
Somewhere in the distance
Like a castaway, drifting
I found my kind of free
