Spent half of my life trying to make sure that it’s worth it

I’ve got love for my nephew Kendrick all he got to do is point I’ll chase
My family really mean more to me than money and riches
But I pray that the Lord gives more to me to satisfy all my ambitions
To satisfy all my goals, you’ve got to put your pride aside
Remember those days we were up in courts like this was a game of 5 aside
I only rely on Jesus Christ

He ain’t ever let me down
And he always makes sure that I survive

Say a prayer everyday
Hope that I maintain
Praying that the Lord forgive me
For all my mistakes
On one hand feeling like its over
The other hand got hope
You gon’ run yourself in circles
Thinking that this life’s a joke
They be looking for a reason
To try and keep me down
They forget I roll with Jesus
I’ve got my freedom now
Plus I’m feeling tired of this cycle
I put loads of effort
