I am at the 23rd Street Chipotle, and there's someone that I'd like you to meet
He's wearing armor, he’s warm to the touch, and he stands nine, maybe ten feet
I think that he's remarkable
I came upon him walking home from a job that I thought would be a lot more fun
Sixteen hours pushing pixels on screens, and I barely get a "job well done"
I know that I'm remarkable
Now, I don't know who made him, but I know a thing or two
About wanting some acknowledgment when I've made something new
I know the feeling when a creation you adore
And the blood and sweat you poured
Go unnoticed and ignored
And you think, "Is there anyone out there
Anyone watching what I do?
Does someone have a clue?
Oh, if someone only knew."
I've been living in New York for a while, and there's something that I'm figuring out:
You can say "You don't see that every day" every day in this beautiful town
It's all just so remarkable
Things like this, they come along and they blow us all away, then before you can blink
Everybody's moving on to the next new perfect and remarkable thing
