Oh great faint mother I call upon thee
To deliver the angel of death
To reclaim what it has stolen from me
For there is a beast
Made of murder
I can no longer keep chained
I feel it's muscled tail
Twitching
Coiled in my guts
It’s armored spikes ready to erupt
Up my spine, puncturing my liver and my kidneys
Piercing through my thin freckled skin
A crooked little smile
It's weaves weave a blistering membrane inky and slick
From my wrist bones to my hips
Narrowing now
For its first ravenous flight
My impassed conscience unshackled from my troubled mind
It's tiresome ambiguities
I am lost to it
I have no memory of myself, my purpose, our family name
I am now just scale and flame
To deliver the angel of death
To reclaim what it has stolen from me
For there is a beast
Made of murder
I can no longer keep chained
I feel it's muscled tail
Twitching
Coiled in my guts
It’s armored spikes ready to erupt
Up my spine, puncturing my liver and my kidneys
Piercing through my thin freckled skin
A crooked little smile
It's weaves weave a blistering membrane inky and slick
From my wrist bones to my hips
Narrowing now
For its first ravenous flight
My impassed conscience unshackled from my troubled mind
It's tiresome ambiguities
I am lost to it
I have no memory of myself, my purpose, our family name
I am now just scale and flame
