So, it's quite fun being a, uh, an opening act
I just wanna introduce myself
I'm a, I'm an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Suffolk
And I'll have CDs at the merch stand afterwards
You know the last time I played this room was in 2012
For uh, for "Plus" and, uh
Basically I had "The A Team" out and that was, that was the song that people came for
And I always dreamed of playing this room and have people like this
I remember coming to watch Bon Iver here and everyone was like completely sat and silent and listening
And I was saying earlier, likе
I've been a singer-songwriter for a long timе, but, ya know
I really enjoy making pop music and I really enjoy that side of things
But this is the first time I've felt like I actually am allowed to be a singer-songwriter
I'm sort of thirty-two, I've, I've lived a bit
And I'm playing an album tonight that I feel is, uh, emotional
And I, I think you're gonna like it
And this pop point of the show is about fun
So, it's not about, uh, introspective thoughts and sadness
It is about "Shivers"
