Immersion Dispersal Sightless Pit

Immersion Dispersal - Sightless Pit
Beyond our corpse
Lies a million mile frozen desert
No father or fire nor wandering guide
Shifting sands as white as the sun
And black as pitch
Drawn from warmth
Ezekiel wanders away
From the burning wheel
Into the frozen dark
From whence beasts shriek and caw
The trees bow and smother
And the gardens wither
In the cold abyss that his absence
Has left us in
Beyond the fine
Altered realities and lumbering moons
Cut day from night
And the ice thickens
Heavier than slabs of granite
