Wonder when the sun will set today
People don't care either way
Some are lookin' for work
Or slaving away
Another golden autumn day
See the fallen leaves are dollar bills
And everyone's a millionaire

I will keep away from morning's grey
A private sun is shining down all day
Of all the golden mornings
This one's so much better
A golden dream is talking
Making friends with strangers

Golden way
Golden nights
And days..

We look in all places
Where it might be near
Make the noise
It likes to hear..
The part that doesn't age
Drifting back to childhood ways
