Lands of Fire

I'm crawling with fever
I'm sinking in deeper
I've reached but the water's no good
And so I'm gonna carry on

I'm dying and breathing
Was my own deceiving
In this life alone
I'll be so hard pressed to even carry on

When the journey started
When I knew I'd make it home
I was all for trying
'Til the path had led me wrong
Then I heard the warning
Yeah I knew it was to come soon
It cannot be refused

Aware is the vulture
It recently circles
My eyes going dry
Yes I'm sure I'll soon become the carrion

The west way goes eastern
And right where the beast yearns
A void lies inside
Now I'm here and there can never be return
