Mary, Mary Glad

Early in the morning
On the first day of the week
Mary set out for the tomb
To see what she might see
They had crucified the One she loved
Just a few days ago
She half believed it was dream
But she just had to know
Just had to know

When she finally turned the corner
What a wonder met her eyes
The stone that covered up the grave
Had now been pushed aside
She said, "Someone has removed my Lord
And lеft an empty tomb
How did His body disappear
And what are wе going to do
What are we going to do"
