One by One Status Quo

Seen a lot of places
Looked at many faces, one by one
And I wonder where they've been

And when I see my good friends
Standing around me, one by one
Then I know just what it means
Only happens in my dreams

There's been a lot of games to play
I've tried to live a better way
Had to do it my own way
It didn't happen every day

And when I see the angels
Walking around me, one by one
Then I'll know just what to do

I'll think of all the places
Remember all the faces, one by one
Then I'll take a look at you
And I'll know those dreams were true

There could be other games to play
I'll leave 'em for another day
Now I'm learning what to say
And I can look the other way
