A Declaration of Independence Ye Banished Privateers

A Declaration of Independence - Ye Banished Privateers
To greedy men who treat us wrong
Has far too long our land belonged
A tyrant and no king of ours
Across the great vast ocean

Tooth for tooth and eye for eye
Kiss your wife and child goodbye
Tonight the knots of war we'll tie
We'll die to win our freedom

If you be a fighting man
Come and show us what you can
And if you be a gambler Ma'm
It's time to make your wagers
If you be a pious lamb
Say your prayers while you can
Hear the cry of Scurvy Dan
All rise against the

While king and fat men sack our land
We must live to mouth from hand
Our young'uns starve on their command
So they can feed their armies

Now you see that fine man on his horse
His unjust rule has run it's course
I'll slit his throat without remorse
And send him back to England
