Cos we're drifting through space
We're losing our faith
And we never felt so alone

This is the human race
Calling from the Milky Way
We're highly evolved fish
From near Alpha Centuri

We crawled out of the mud
Waited for our brains and blood
And we're only just opening our eyes

Our technology is immaculate
We use the internet a lot
To send videos of cats to each other

But we're not doing so well
Regarding not killing ourselves
With our guns, and our tanks, and our bombers
