Tokyo town, what a beautiful and vibrant city
Shining down and casting shadows are the lights around me
From around the corner it’s escaping
Mixing with the neon-coloured signage ever changing
Come and take my time away, I’ll trade my world away for one night
Sinking into the lights

“All aboard” - on the final train that’s leaving shortly
From the window, my reflection isn’t who I thought she would be
Honestly she looks a bit exhausted
Someone that could start crying any time she wanted
Someone all alone in the dark, someone who doesn’t know whеre they are

But it’s fine, someday it’ll be alright
I’ve said it to myself a thousand times - I’ve said it yet again tonight
Still today, I slowly fade away
No matter where I go in Tokyo I feel almost like a ghost

So used to only losing sight of the things I wanted
I find again I’m reaching for something I’d forgotten
The memories come flooding back to me
And I can’t help but burst into tears
This city really is sick
Almost as if I could be blinded by it
