From those who Starr in flicks
And those who play ball

Even members from my community
Thinking that lying will give them immunity
From pain, from grief, from sorrow
Authenticity ain’t greedy
It's all yours to borrow
Don't you know
Your past all tangles up with your tomorrow
We’re caught up in an age
Where it's cool to be a sage
Where we don't want to feel caged
Where we all want to make a name
Where we all don't want to lose a game
That's fine, but the root of lying
Is being ashamed
Of who're you're not
Be proud of what you got
And you'll feel no need
To mislead or shy away
Or feel like a lame

Don’t fake it till you make it
Be real with your failures
Don’t go around wearing a mask
You ain't doing anyone a favor
Don’t bottle up your emotions
Thinking the cure is the paper
Don't imprison yourself
Honesty is the best game changer
