All That’s Guaranteed Zoan

All that’s guaranteed in life
Are tax and death
Wax poetic with my breath
But my words fall on deaf ears
Die as a hero
Or live long enough
To see yourself become a villain
What can I do
If the real makes them feel
And they be in their feelings?

Status and place in the game
Along with a worthy name
Some want to place the blame
As if I haven’t been trying to be better
Stack more cheddar
But not mindful of having more mousetraps
What’s worse on a gloomy weather
Is understanding
The thе forces that operate in your lifе say, “We won’t allow that”
Man got wants
Man got needs
But if what he covets
Turns into malice and greed
It’s not news anymore
And it don’t have to pop up on my newsfeed
Mustard tree strong, tall, and mighty
Some don’t even bother to
Sow the mustard seed
What can I do
If they hate themselves
And the lives they live
