Come Here Boy (Live) [iTunes Festival: London 2007] Imogen Heap

Come Here Boy (Live) [iTunes Festival: London 2007] - Imogen Heap
[Intro]
"I actually nearly fainted in the middle of that. I was just like, I was trying to hold it on for so long and I could just see all of these white spots going in front of my eyes, I will like 'Stop and take a breath'. So this song... not all of my songs are about sex, right. This song is about falling in love with my teacher. When I was- this was one of the first songs I wrote that ended up being good enough to put on the album and I wrote it about - I'm not going to say who it is - but a certain teacher that taught me - what's it called? - Music Technology, and so everybody knows now who it was if they went to the Brits School. So, there we go. Yeah, so I really really liked him. In fact, I very, um, I've lost my voice now, unsurprisingly. I wrote him a little note and, to say how, how I loved him so much, and my undying love for him, and... I don't know why I liked him so much. I think because he, like, turned up in like really tight cycling gear. And I though that was really cool. Anyway, so this is called 'Come Here Boy'."

[Verse 1]
It's dark in here
Visions are flashing into my head as I reminisce
My re-occurring dreams and you said
"I'm falling, falling for you, babe
And my feelings are getting stronger
So why don't you stay with me for a, for a little longer?"

[Chorus]
Come here boy
Oh, oh, come here boy
Come here boy
Oh, oh, come here boy

[Verse 2]
I know that my face
Is only too familiar to your sleep
I can see it in you eyes
And I can tell by your body
Why are you taking so long?
You need me to come and find me, honey
To set your mind at rest
And let your dreams run free
