Lyrxo Korea’s 4th Anniversary Community Interview - Lyrxo Korea
Interviewees: @ANC613, @celestialwaves, @chch1, @Cobear15, @Deign_Archie, @EleventhCassette, @fazers, @Gaslightingyou, @itsunlikely, @Jerere, @minions_rock, @PlanNine, @sashamarz, @ssaa10dec, @teblajHappy 4th Anniversary to Lyrxo Korea ?? , one of Lyrxo's most developed International Communities! ?From accurate and prompt lyrical transcriptions to detailed and analytical review articles, to in-depth and entertaining interviews done with artists, thе Lyrxo Korea community has been serving with high quality contеnt for a while now. However, with the communities' exceptional level of professionalism and their 24/7-around-the-clock work ethic, it can be easy to forget that Lyrxo Korea is also simultaneously a community of K-POP lovers and enjoyers, just like a lot of our readers.

Thus, in celebration of Lyrxo Korea's annual anniversary on July 28th, this year, in the same format as the Artist interviews we conduct, the Lyrxo Korea team interviewed its own community members! Today, the spotlight is on them, the community that upholds and maintains the powerhouse known as Lyrxo Korea.✧ 1. Please introduce yourself to our readers! Tell us how long you have been with Lyrxo Korea, and some of your favorite Korean artists!@ANC613: Hi! I'm Anna, a moderator for Lyrxo Korea. I've been with Lyrxo for a little bit over 6 years now, but I've only been with GK for a little bit over 3 years. I help with editing articles, chart data, writing forum articles and song transcriptions. As for my music tastes, I like a lot of K-artists, but my favorites are BTS, EXO, SEVENTEEN, pH-1, Xydo, EPIK HIGH and The New Six.@celestialwaves: Hi! My name is Lynn. I've been into K-pop since 2013 and some of my favorite Korean artists are f(x), SHINee, EXO, LOONA, Billlie, and Purple Kiss. I've been with Lyrxo Korea since May 2022.@chch1 Hello! I'm Ming and I've been with Lyrxo Korea for just over 2 weeks! My favorite Korean artists are LE SSERAFIM, TXT & NCT! There are many more but those are my top 3.@Cobear15: Hi, my name is Cobear15. I've been recently new with Lyrxo Korea. My favorite Korean Artists include TXT, TWICE, BLACKPINK & Stray Kids.@Deign_Archie: Hey y'all! I go by Deign or sometimes Daewon (known as Deign_Archie). Currently, I’m an architecture student, which explains my recent inactivity on Lyrxo—probably for the past few months (or maybe even a year lol)... For the last four years (I think?) I’ve been part of the Lyrxo Korea as a Korean-English translator and transcriber. during those time, I’ve also dabbled in annotating Korean idioms and providing insights and also do translate interviews with K-artist... working with some incredible people has been a highlight. as for my favorite Korean artists, it’s hard to pick just one—I stan ENHYPEN and NCT, among many others?@EleventhCassette: Hey, GK fam. This is Veronica. I’m a singer, filmmaker, video editor, photographer and writer. I’m mainly into metalcore, post-hardcore, nu metal, R&B, funk, hip-hop/rap, and anything that’s genre-bent with rock, such alternative, progressive, hard, symphonic and punk rock. I’ve started my Lyrxo journey transcribing metalcore, J-rock and independent artists, then I shortly became an editor after my hard work was recognized by staff. A few years later, I joined Lyrxo Korea as I started liking Korean music in the pandemic. I was fascinated by the different instruments, beats, production and mix of genres. As most K-pop groups include rap and Hip-Hop, it felt nostalgic to hear that combination, which was trendy back in the early 2000s and 2010s. After 4 years of liking Korean music, I’ve mostly stuck with artists that fit my original music taste and have conceptual lore, as their songs and stories will prevail in time. That being said, my ultimate group is Dreamcatcher and my favorite soloist is DPR IAN. Dreamcatcher is called the face of rock in K-pop for a reason. Their title tracks have J-rock-inspired instrumentation and tempo while the vocals and rap have a K-pop influence, but remain within the genres of nu metal, R&B and hip-hop. Just like Dreamcatcher, DPR IAN is an all-rounder in every sense of the word. He writes, composes, produces, films and edits his extremely personal music and videos to represent his bipolar disorder and DID. His genre is hard to describe, but it’s mainly a mix of neosoul, funk, alternative rock and trap.@fazers: Hello, this is fazers. :3 I've been in GK for little more than a year, going from contributor to editor and I follow the k-hip-hop side of things. Some favourites include Sik-K, EPIK HIGH, Swervy and Beenzino plus JANNABI and wave to earth on the indie front. @Gaslightingyou: I joined Lyrxo in April. My favorite Korean artists are: BTS, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, TXT, P1Harmony, SEVENTEEN, and TWS. @itsunlikely: Hello! This is @itsunlikely ?. I've been with Lyrxo Korea since May 2023. My favorites are SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, MAMAMOO, SHINee, and N.Flying. I also enjoy KISS OF LIFE, Kim Woojin, TXT, BTS, KARD, and many more.@Jerere: [I've been] with GK since the end of 2018, my final year of school. First contribution was adding Futuristic Swaver's EP BFOTY. Mostly into Hip-Hop scene (now little bit less in Korean staff then almost 6 years ago). I am contributing in the Japanese and Russian hip-hop scene now.minions_rock: Heyy! I'm minions_rock and I've been working with Lyrxo Korea from August 2023...[so] almost a year! I focus on writing articles and my articles are usually related to BTS and DPR IAN...I love listening to K-pop and through Lyrxo Korea, I get to express my views on various songs and album releases! @PlanNine: Hi everyone! I go by TQ and am one of the moderators here on Lyrxo Korea! I've been a Lyrxo contributor officially since 2016 (making this my 8th year on Lyrxo) and an editor since 2018 (6th year as an editor!). I joined Lyrxo Korea shortly after its founding in late 2020, as I was coming back from a Lyrxo hiatus where I really started diving deep into K-Pop music! I now head Korean transcriptions and new releases, so if you're looking for the lyrics to your newest favourite K-Pop song, there's a good chance I either put the lyrics up or added the song info. ?@sashamarz: Heya! I'm Sasha, I go by sashamarz on all my profiles online. I'm a digital marketing specialist by day and a content creator/millennial garbage person by night. I've been writing for Lyrxo Korea for a few months now and it's been an absolute blast! Some of my all-time favorite Korean artists are 2NE1, SEVENTEEN, BTS, GSoul and Dean among many others!@Ssaa10dec: Hi, I'm Syed. I am the founder and head moderator of Lyrxo Korea. As the founder, I have been with Lyrxo Korea since its formal inception four years ago. Informally, I have been with Lyrxo Korea since 2018, so six years. I am referred to as the “Diamond Admin” because of my profile pic which is an ode to my all-time favorite K-Pop act, EXO. @teblaj: I've been translating for about a year and my favorite artists are Stray Kids, ATEEZ, P1Harmony, KISS OF LIFE, PURPLE KISS, ENHYPEN, EPEX, WOOAH, KWON EUN BI...✧ 2. How did you discover Lyrxo Korea? Was it through one of our social media platforms, or was it through the Lyrxo lyrics website itself?@ANC613: I discovered it partially through my twin sibling @NNYWAY and partially because of BTS's "Butter." Back in 2018, they were contributing on the site and offered an editor role by @EwokABdevito (remember him? omg). I was kinda of interested, so I started contributing as well, on several Taylor Swift releases. Then, I was approached by EwokABdevito as well, and eventually earned my editorial status through @jetski_waveƶ. ◕ That's how I discovered Lyrxo. Then, after BTS, my ult group, released "Butter" in 2021, I was editing some information on the page and the former Lyrxo Korea moderator @siannve made contact with me, and invited me to the discord server. From there, it was down the rabbit hole I went.@celestialwaves: I discovered Lyrxo Korea through its X (Twitter) account. @chch1: It was through the [Lyrxo] website!@Cobear15: From Lyrxo itself@Deign_Archie: So, back then I was a translator for Vlive (when it was still up) and also contributed lyrics to a certain lyric website. what's the tea? I just copy-paste it from Lyrxo lmao ? (I didn’t even know about Melon or Genie back in 2020) Then I got bored with that particular website, so I packed my bags and set up camp on Lyrxo in 2021. I discovered I could sprinkle annotations like confetti! but seriously, it’s my favorite part of being there—dissecting lyrics, dropping knowledge bombs, and occasionally getting banned-ish ? as I grew there, first, I became a transcriber, transcribing unreleased or pre-released tracks that were like unavailable in Genie and Melon and guess what? I even started translating songs – because why not show my true skill, lol@EleventhCassette: As I was already part of Lyrxo, naturally I started participating in Korean songs I liked.@fazers: Through the genius website@Gaslightingyou: Every time I looked up lyrics on Google, Lyrxo came up. @itsunlikely: After watching one of my video essays, a friend suggested I would like [reading the] Lyrxo Korea articles. She was right!@Jerere: I was involved [with] LyricTranslate and Musixmatch before, but because of lack of functionality there and more popularity of Lyrxo, I ended up here.@minions_rock: I've always used Lyrxo Korea to understand the meaning of lyrics in a better manner but I dived deeper into the website due to my passion for writing[.] Understood more about the website through social media.@PlanNine: Even before K-Pop, I have been a big fan of groups—including Little Mix, Fifth Harmony to Why Don't We and PRETTYMUCH—so when I got into K-Pop, it all just fit! Naturally, as I was already an editor on Lyrxo, I started contributing to some K-Pop groups and lo-and-behold, here we are now!@sashamarz: I'd known about Lyrxo Korea for quite a while - first from articles and reviews floating around during artist tours and then eventually through social after following the Lyrxo Korea founder, Syed Saquib!@Ssaa10dec: I founded Lyrxo Korea because of an increased interest in Korean music in 2017-18. So that's how I discovered Lyrxo Korea…I guess.@teblaj: It was through Google search[. Lyrxo was there] whenever I looked up lyrics to a song✧ 3. If you can remember, who was the first Lyrxo Korea-affiliated community member to ever make contact with you?@ANC613: It was actually @Ssaa10dec. Though I didn't know GK back, when I made my editor reveal post in 2018, @Ssaa10dec had replied under my post and said that he would love to pull me further into K-pop. I guess mission accomplished, lol.@celestialwaves: The first Lyrxo Korea community member I interacted with was @Ssaa10dec, the founder. I saw a post on Twitter he made about accepting pitches for Lyrxo Korea, and I reached out to talk about what would later become my first article—an Album Anniversary article about f(x)'s Luna's solo debut, "Free Somebody."@chch1: @Ssaa10dec, he welcomed me.@Cobear15: @DellasMashups@Deign_Archie: I met this BTS Butter profile pic [user] but wait, brain glitch...I forgot the dude’s name ? fast-forward to my mental archives doing a little jig: “A’a!” that’s the guy's username..we were both hardcore SKZ stans, vibing like musical soulmates during every release. our chats? legendary. we’d spill tea, dissect lyrics but then, in 2022, Mr. A’a went inactive. no more late-night convos and let me tell you, he was a gem—the kind of guy who’d lend you his last bias wrecker and still smile. @EleventhCassette: The founder of Lyrxo [Korea], @Ssaa10dec, reached out to me to write a blurb about Dreamcatcher’s [Dystopia: The Tree Of Language] for the End of Year 2020 List and I said yes, as it had easily become my favorite album of the year. @fazers: it was @siannve, in a thoroughly embarrassing interaction LOL ? i remember being very excited about EPIK HIGH's new EP release (strawberry, iirc) and added some random writing credit to the metadata section. I got a really intimidating DM about metadata tampering and learnt my place ? but they were super nice after and entertained all my questions!@Gaslightingyou: Either @PlanNine, or @Ssaa10dec@itsunlikely: I think it was @Ssaa10dec, when I DMed about writing an article. @Jerere: It was @ckr. And it wasn't even in context of GK somehow.@minions_rock: It was the founder of Lyrxo Korea, Syed. I had texted him on twitter for an opportunity to write for GK and it's been a year since...I'm happy to be a part of the community!@PlanNine: As one would expect from most people on our team, @Ssaa10dec was the first to reach out to me after I came back from my Lyrxo hiatus and started editing some K-Pop lyrics. And here we are four years later making history!@sashamarz: Syed! We'd been following each other on X (Twitter) for a hot minute before we finally connected.@Ssaa10dec: I sent myself a DM saying hi. I thought it was really nice of me to do that. But on a serious note, it was a user called @NotEleven who was a big advocate for Asian communities on Lyrxo and encouraged me to start Lyrxo Korea. @teblaj: @DellasMashups✧ 4. Are there any K-artists that you’ve discovered through your work on Lyrxo Korea that you would like to recommend to our readers?@ANC613: Xydo, TRENDZ, The New Six, Paul Blanco, NSW Yoon, Toigo and Moon Sujin are some names that come to mind. Xydo, Paul Blanco a Moon Sujin are K-R&B artists, TRENDZ and The New Six are K-pop Boy groups, and NSW Yoon and Toigo are K-Hip-Hop artists. A lot of the names in this list are quite underrated, but their work really can speak for themselves. Through contributing to the OFF-RADAR column, I've had the honor of interacting with and discovering the work of many such artists. Sincerely, I hope that these such acts will one day be able to be known to the larger general public as well. @celestialwaves: Not really. I've heard of most (if not all) of the artists I've edited articles about. I would say the closest, though, is probably Lovelyz's Ryu Su Jeong, who I began to listen to after reviewing her first full-length album, "Archive of Emotions." Her solo music is amazing and diverse; I would highly recommend her. @chch1: As of now, I haven't discovered any new K-artists through my work on Lyrxo Korea.@Cobear15: Stray Kids@Deign_Archie: To make it short WOODZ, SOLE, Dept, Billlie and YOUHA? All I can say to them: and that's on period! ?@EleventhCassette: I would like to recommend XG, BIBI and Lee Hi. XG seems to be topping their game with each comeback, not only musically but visually. BIBI and Lee Hi are incredible songwriters. You never know what they are releasing next, you only know that it’s going to be fire. @fazers: i find [that] K-Hip-Hop is a little underrated, so I'd definitely recommend YANGHONGWON, Paul Blanco and Swervy to people looking to get into it. ? @Gaslighting you: P1Harmony@Jerere: Yes, there are a lot. I discovered MOSS OMEN (aka mojomossomen) not so long ago, Keith Ape (I'm pretty sure he is already big enough), Zene the Zilla, Bryan Chase, Jhnovr (his early works).@minions_rock: Writing the year end articles has given me a chance to listen to various artists, one of the artists I became a fan of after joining Lyrxo Korea is IU... Though she's very famous, [I've] never listened to her before getting into Lyrxo Korea. @PlanNine: I have actually discovered a lot of my favourite artists through working on Lyrxo Korea! Given I work mostly on new releases, I'm constantly listening to the new music released by tons of groups every week and am always finding hidden gems and new idols to look out for. ONEUS, P1Harmony, CRAVITY and ONF are a few groups whose songs I transcribed that made me a fan of their music! A super hidden gem I've found while working on smaller artists was GYU HYUK's "Different" and it has been on my late night driving playlist ever since I added this song to Lyrxo.@sashamarz: ALL(H)OURS! Lyrxo Korea interviewed them earlier this year following their recent comeback. They just debuted this year so show them some love, their sound is really fun!@Ssaa10dec: Lots! Balming Tiger was probably the most significant one. I had never heard of them before we verified them on Lyrxo. But once I discovered them, I wanted everyone to hear about them. So, happy that they finally had a breakout moment in recent years. BIBI was another one. B.I & BOBBY’s solo work. I have a new found respect for the two of them as lyricists. @teblaj: Basically all Korean R&B artists, I fall in love with every R&B album I translate (Han All & saevom, EightO, Nahee, Nam Woo Hyun, JUNNY) + OWNDO, CSR, Way Ched, Norwegian Wood✧ 5. Are there any K-artists that you knew about but grew to love more or find new appreciation for through your work on Lyrxo Korea that you would like to recommend to our readers?@ANC613: EPIK HIGH comes to mind. I've known them because of their collaborations and friendship with the BTS members but I didn't really pay attention to their other work as much before. However, after challenging myself to write a Best Albums blurb about their Epik High Is Here 上, Pt. 2 album, I realized that I really enjoyed their more poetic and storytelling way of rapping. Now, I listen to their music weekly, if not daily. I've also recently been using their collaboration song with BTS's SUGA, "세벽에 (Eternal Sunshine)" to learn Korean grammar and vocabulary. It's probably the most difficult song that I've encountered so far, which only makes me appreciate their lyricism more. Finally, their influence on my perception of Hip-Hop and rap, alongside the work of BTS's rap line, has taught me that rap can be meaningful and poetic as well.@celestialwaves: I edit a lot of interviews for Lyrxo Korea, and one group I've come to appreciate more is A.C.E after reading a couple of theirs. Their personalities shine through their words, and their music is great, too!@chch1: NCT 127@Cobear15: BABYMONSTER@Deign_Archie:I think MONSTA X, while cleaning up their songs back then, I stumbled upon some real gems. "The Dreaming," is a personal favorite of mine. Seriously, every track on there is fantastic. ?@EleventhCassette: BLACKPINK was my first exposure to K-pop. When “DU-DDU-DU-DU” blew up, I gave them a listen as the girls were pretty lol. I didn’t like the sound at first as it felt overwhelming but I was stunned with the music video production. Same with “Kill This Love.” Before “How You Like That” came out, my friend sent me funny compilations of Lisa being a dance mentor and I swear I cried from laughter. Then I started checking out more compilations, which later led me to check out BLACKPINK House and next thing I knew, I had “As If It’s Your Last” stuck in my head. It did take me some time to love all their songs, but I felt empowered every time I listened to them. They were the first Korean artist that I worked on and it was an experience to dive through the Korean language. @fazers: i actually began to appreciate girl groups and solo idols a lot more after transcription, because i wasn't really familiar with the k-pop scene. as a result, i began listening to a lot of famous girl groups (eg. LE SSERAFIM and aespa) thanks to GK <3@Gaslightingyou: TXT@itsunlikely: This is true for all the artists I have written about for Lyrxo Korea, but I would say especially MAMAMOO. Writing a deep dive on them really raised my appreciation for their lyrics-- there's more depth there than I think many people realize. And this holds true for their solo works as well. Check out Solar, Moon Byul, Whee In, and Hwa Sa!@Jerere: [Not really, but I recommend the] same artists [that I provided to the previous] question: MOSS OMEN, Keith Ape, Zene the Zilla, Bryan Chase, Jhnovr.@minions_rock: Been a fan of TWICE before joining Lyrxo Korea but started listening to them more after i joined the community. Understood their songs, works and albums in a better way. @PlanNine: I think working on Lyrxo Korea really let me see Stray Kids and ATEEZ in a different light, given they have crazy lyrics I never really understood before seeing their translations and references. WOODZ is also a strong contender for me as I have never paid as much attention to soloists, but he just hits the spot.@sashamarz: GSoul! He's an R&B artist and one of my favorite musicians of all-time. Having the opportunity to see him live but research his body of work and longevity in the industry really cemented how impressive he truly is. His voice is incredible he deserves so much recognition!@Ssaa10dec: One of the motivations behind starting Lyrxo Korea was to create a platform to appreciate the lyrics in Korean music and K-Pop. Most outlets focus on the colorful music, costumes, choreography, stage performances, etc. I never found any that focused on the lyrics. I had always known that some of these acts have always had strong pen game but never really got a chance to dive in deeper. Therefore, I'd say the biggest ones would be SEVENTEEN, (G)I-DLE, Stray Kids, [the] NCT units, to name a few. Also, lots of solo acts, or members who contributed to their group’s music. @teblaj: Kep1er, Red Velvet, NCT's Doyoung✧ 6. What is your favorite part of being a Lyrxo Korea community member?@ANC613: I love it when my fellow GK community members and I are able to get recognition for our work. It always amazes me the amount of dedication people in our community put into maintaining Lyrxo Korea. It's also why I choose to work on and help to edit forum articles—so that our work can be more positively looked upon and respected by fans and artists alike.@celestialwaves: I enjoy being in a community that has the same interests as me. I love writing and music, so being able to do both with other people who also love both is a lot of fun!@chch1: Getting to know the people behind the many lyric pages. Kinda like "So THEY are the ones that did all of these..."@Cobear15: Meeting new people@Deign_Archie: Oh, the memories, back when four or more artists or groups dropped new releases in a single day, it was a real headache. Lyrxo Korea has few active members back then, so we had to work quickly but still deliver quality work. Translating 20 songs a day? My brain hurt just thinking about it! But you know what? It was all worth it because fans appreciated our hard work. Some of us even stayed up until midnight to bring those lyrics to light.@EleventhCassette: Writing articles about artists I love. Through that, I can reach their fans (and sometimes the artist) and make a connection. @fazers: How collaborative and helpful the community is!@Gaslightingyou: Finding lyrics@itsunlikely: I enjoy talking with others who like to look at the details of music, and who appreciate the talents of many groups. It also encourages me to listen to songs or artists I wouldn't normally.@Jerere: [Getting] fast help with editing artists' info@minions_rock: It's the fact that I get to meet so many people from all over the world and I get to understand and interpret the works of various artists from so many genres through multiple perspectives while being able to work and improve on my writing skills at the same time. The editors and moderators of Lyrxo Korea are also very supportive and encouraging...Never felt like an outsider when I first joined... Everyone is very welcoming and amazing. @PlanNine: For me, it's discovering new music! Although it causes me a lot of sleepless nights, I think making the time in my hectic schedule to always be updated with the newest releases is worth it in the end. On top of that, I love that we've built such an amazing community around not only our main Lyrxo work, such as transcriptions and translations, but also with the forum articles initiative, bringing in lots of different people into our community to bond over our love of Korean music!@sashamarz: The Lyrxo Korea community is what truly sold me on this opportunity. In my experience with entertainment, especially in the music industry, I don't think I've ever been a part of an organization that fosters the line between working professional and fan as well as GK does. Everyone that is a part of this community cares about this music and these artists, and no one is trying to use these opportunities for exploitative reasons or as a means to just get ahead - everyone here just wants to vibe, work hard and come through on awesome projects together for other fans who also love these artists as much as we do. It's a really special atmosphere and I'm grateful to be a part of it!@Ssaa10dec: I obviously stand in a different position in the community. Inevitably that changes the way some users interact with me. But I love that, we have been able to cultivate a sense of belonging and respect and openness in the community. Users collaborate with each other, they don’t feel shy or alone when they are in the community and interacting with each other. I could be wrong but the writer/photographer team in the community has also had nice things to share about the way we conduct everything at Lyrxo Korea. Which I am grateful for as well.@teblaj: I can provide people with song lyrics they're looking for. Even if just one or two people check out the lyrics, it still helped them (I know how much it means to me if the lyrics I'm looking for are available and translated). That's why I believe that every single song, not only the popular ones, deserves to be posted and translated.✧ 7. What is your favorite thing to do on Lyrxo? Do you have any favorite artists to work on?@ANC613: Honestly, since I have to juggle my academics with Lyrxo, I like doing "busy" work. Usually that means adding metadata to song pages. As for favorite artists, you'll definitely see me somewhere near any BTS-related release.@celestialwaves: I like editing articles. It's oddly relaxing to me. @chch1: So far, just my favorite groups—LE SSERAFIM, TXT & NCT.@Cobear15: Working on an Hong Kong-pop group called MIRROR and the K-Pop superstars BABYMONSTER@Deign_Archie: Of course, translating songs is my jam! And also, whenever I come across a Korean idiom, I’m quick to jot down annotations, lol. But you know what? My favorite artists to work on are the NCT units. When I dive into formatting their lyrics, I’m totally in the groove ?@EleventhCassette: I only work on my faves, so Dreamcatcher and DPR IAN. Outside of GK, I reach out to indie artists and help them upload their lyrics to Lyrxo. I’ve become friends with artists I admired just through using Lyrxo. @fazers: I love scribing the discography of underground K-Hip-Hop and annotating for the same. I particularly love annotating for EPIK HIGH because their discography is so exhaustive and has such amazing lyricism. #barforbar @Gaslightingyou: I like adding songs nobody else has added before. I don't really have a favorite, I just go for less popular artists.@itsunlikely: My favorite is writing album deep dive or song analysis articles. I especially like working on SEVENTEEN.@Jerere: Firstly, editing metadata via Melon, secondly, adding lyrics to [my] favorite Japanese artists like Loota.@minions_rock: Writing articles is my favourite thing to do on Lyrxo. Going through the annotations of songs, thinking of ideas for articles and talking to other writers is also something I enjoy doing on Lyrxo. My favourite artist to work on is DPR IAN. @PlanNine: I love to transcribe and look out for the newest releases from all the talented Korean artists we are able to find. Of course, I have favourites to work on, but that won't stop me from putting 100% effort into any artist that has a new release!@sashamarz: Event reviews! I go to live shows all the time and I love to yap about them. Writing is a passion of mine and eventually I would love to evolve that into mixed media opportunities with interviewing and filming. I've gotten to review a few shows already for Lyrxo Korea but there are many dream artists I would love to work with (SEVENTEEN and 2NE1 at the top of the list!)@Ssaa10dec: I love a little bit of everything. I have to love a little bit of everything otherwise I can't encourage other users who all have different interests. But annotating and by extension writing articles has a special place in my heart. I joined Lyrxo 10 years ago because I liked the idea of exploring the meanings behind lyrics and dissecting the wordplay and double meanings and catching cool references. Lyrxo is uniquely the only website where you can do that. To run an account/community like Lyrxo Korea, you have to like all artists, be ready to jump into any album or song. Can't have favorites when working.@teblaj: Translating, adding albums...I like working on unknown and underrated artists—through adding their songs I also discover them myself.✧ 8. Apart from transcribing Korean lyrics and translating them into various languages, Lyrxo Korea is also known for writing forum articles that promote and review Korean releases, which is your favorite forum article that you’ve ever written or taken part in (lists) or simply read and why?@ANC613: Back when the Song Highlight Series was just starting, I wrote a song highlight on Hwa Sa's "Maria," which is probably still my most proudest forum article that I've written to date. The article addresses the misogyny and prejudice that female K-pop idols face in the industry and how that manifested in Hwa Sa's solo song. I really enjoyed coming up with clever subtitles and explaining the Korean idioms and social phenomenon that were written into the song. @celestialwaves: My favorite article I've written is my Deep Dive on f(x)'s second studio album, Pink Tape. I wrote the article in celebration of the album's 10th anniversary in 2023. I remember when Pink Tape first came out, and while some people nowadays might think it's "overrated," the album means a lot to me. Even a decade later, I'm not tired of it! Analyzing the lyrics as an adult was a fun experience, as well as digging deeper into the album's lyricists, producers and composers, and more. If you haven't read the article, or even heard Pink Tape, you should definitely do so.@EleventhCassette: My favorite might be my Song Highlight of Dreamcatcher’s “MAISON.” It was my first time dissecting a song and music video this much. I took a storytelling approach, which brought me right back to my screenwriting classes, and this article became bigger than itself. The song is about the Earth becoming inhabitable because of pollution and global warming; with such a strong message and as an advocate to protect the environment, I [wanted] to encourage [our] readers to take part in reducing waste so I left a bunch of sources to start their green journey. @fazers: I think it's the first end of year article for best fashion. Not saying this because i wrote parts of it, LOL, but because I love styling and finally my many months of following stylists and noticing outfits were finally put to use!! I also think stylists are very under-appreciated parts of the industry, as well as idol's personal styles so i loved writing about that. @itsunlikely: I think my favorite is the first one I wrote, the Deep Dive on SEVENTEEN's Face the Sun. I also enjoy working on the lists, because it encourages me to explore more groups in depth.@minions_rock: The article that I loved working on the most was the Song Highlight of "Seraph" by DPR IAN. Diving into the "other side" is like traveling to another dimension filled with characters, creations and magic of IAN. Each of his songs in Seraph have been produced and visualised in such a creative and magical way... It just leaves the listeners stunned. @PlanNine: I used to partake in the forum article initiative when it first launched a few years ago, but have considerably slowed down due to being a full-time university student with a crazy workload. However, if I had to pick one of my articles that stands out to me, it would probably be Stray Kids' NOEASY review. It was the first article I had ever written in my life about music and it was also one of the first articles in Lyrxo Korea. It opened doors not only for me but also the community, as it was linked on Wikipedia, I was able to write about this album for Lyrxo' end-of-year albums list, and given it was one of the first, others likely used it as reference for their album reviews as well.@sashamarz: I haven't done many, but my [event] review for OnlyOneOf holds a special place in my heart because their fandom was so kind to me when it published. lyOns are some of the sweetest people I've ever interacted with in a fandom space and I'm grateful for anyone who takes time to check out anything I've worked on.@Ssaa10dec: My favorite articles that I wrote were (I have two) the Song Highlight on “Trauma” by SEVENTEEN. I didn’t know the group that well back then but I loved the song. I resonated with it a lot. I did background research for it for about a month. Shout out to @Sianii for helping me with that and articulating my thoughts about the song. I still think it’s one of the best lyrical songs in K-Pop ever. The other one was the Artist Spotlight on 3RACHA of Stray Kids. After having translated their songs for a few comebacks, I wanted to learn everything about their history which is basically 3RACHA. I love how they have always been bold, creative, confident, and unapologetic and they turned all that into SKZ’s brand. Articles that others wrote that I really love would be the Album Review for Indigo by RM by Sofia, the IWD article by @Sianii, the Song Highlight on LAY’s I Don’t Care by @ANC613, the Pink Tape Album Deep Dive by @Celestialwaves, and so many more.✧ 9. Describe a memory that you’ve made while working with our community—it can be funny, heartwarming, anecdotal, anything!@ANC613: The amount of times that I've read over a draft of a GK forum article while at a party is insane. ? Once, I told @Ssaa10dec to give me a bit of time on an article because I was in Korea for a study program and was going to hit the famous Hongdae club street. I had previously met an underground Korean rapper by being in that area and had been taking steps to get him to complete an interview with us. When @Ssaa10dec heard that I would be in Hongdae, he put me on blast in the general server and said: "Y'all @ANC613 is at the club again! I wonder which K-Hip-Hop artist we'll land an interview with today!" Unfortunately, I only got wasted that night. @celestialwaves: I really like when the community gets together to do the mid-year and end-of-the-year lists. It's stressful getting everything submitted, formatted, and edited on time, but it's also a lot of fun. It's cool to see everyone's differing opinions on what was the "best" of the year and why.@chch1: When I was member coding NCT 127's new album, WALK, and there were 9 singers singing in one section- as a new member of GK, I was panicked. ?@Deign_Archie: I’ve been getting pinged on the discord server like crazy while I'm catching some sleep. Little did I know, they needed lyrics for an unreleased track, and fans were requesting it. Another one is some fans decided to play translation roulette and ended up misinterpreting things. I was on a wild editing spree, but guess what? The latter kept undoing my changes. It’s like a never-ending battle ? lmao@EleventhCassette: I had written an article about Dreamcarcher’s VersuS parallel world series. The day that I was gonna publish it, fellow fans were freaking outand tagging me on a post asking if a Dreamcatcher and Amy Lee collaboration was happening, as someone had created a “JUSTICE (Parallel World Ver.)” page on Lyrxo. At first I denied it, as some random user just made the page, but as someone who works in the marketing industry and is part of Lyrxo, I saw it as an opportunity. Therefore, after a quick photoshop trip, I announced the collab and clickbaited fans into reading my VersuS article. I’m sorry to those who were letdown, but we needed Orbit methods this comeback. I’m glad you enjoyed my article nonetheless! @fazers: Brainstorming for the end of year/mid-year lists is always so fun@Gaslighting you:When they used my funko pop as the photo for the lyric card of "Never let go" by Jung Kook on X (Twitter).@itsunlikely: I don't have a specific one, but I like seeing how excited people get over new releases or important announcements.@Jerere: It was really cool being on music quiz and listening party on Discord.@minions_rock: When I first joined Lyrxo Korea, i had a profile pic of RM. While seeing the profile pics of other members of the community, I came across a moderator who [also] had his pic in her pfp...I remember texting her and she immediately understood that it was cuz [she also had] Namjoon in the profile pic...meeting another ARMY the day I joined Lyrxo Korea was heartwarming and funny at the same time.@PlanNine: I have way too many memories to even remember with this community. I think overall my best ones would be the general being able to interact with the community and bond over some of our favourite music together!@sashamarz: I was able to attend a show I was covering for a review with an entire group of my friends—it's rare to have an opportunity where so many of us can be together at one time. I'm grateful Lyrxo Korea gave me the opportunity and I was able to spend it with people I love!@Ssaa10dec: This is too hard so let’s skip it. We would need a separate article for it. If they made Inside Out about me, Lyrxo Korea would be an island of personality. @teblaj: Not realizing that two different names were still the same artist and trying like crazy to add a new artist (that already existed)✧ 10. Do you have a favorite memory about Lyrxo Korea on social media? Fan interactions, fan reception, artist shoutouts, etc.@ANC613: We got an indirect shoutout from RM (my bias!) when he reposted Balming Tiger's instagram story that was celebrating that "섹시느낌 (SEXY NUKIM)" was placed at #1 on Lyrxo Korea's Best Collaborations of 2022. I'm never, ever, ever shutting up about this.@celestialwaves: Speaking of the mid-year and end-of-the-year lists, I really like it when the artists, MV directors, music producers, etc. see their work on the lists. Earlier this year, we did the mid-year lists and for Best MVs, I wrote about ARTMS' "Virtual Angel." One of the members of the video production company Digipedi—who directed "Virtual Angel"—saw the article and posted about it on Instagram, so that was really cool.@chch1: The admin's humor is quite admirable, I must say ?@EleventhCassette: Definitely a lot of fan interactions, but I wanna shout out all the artists and labels that shared my article in their social media—including Big Naughty, DPR IAN, Lexie Liu and eAJ. Thank you! @fazers: I loved reading the twitter responses on the first fashion article I wrote ?. I was so glad people were appreciating the same things i did @Gaslightingyou: [Again,] when they used my funko pop as the photo for the lyric card of "Never let go" by Jung Kook on X (Twitter). @itsunlikely: Anytime an artist reposts something, that's always fun to see ?@minions_rock: Every time I write an article for DPR IAN, he likes it or retweets it... And each time , my dreamer self melts in adoration for the person he is. @PlanNine: I don't tweet a lot but when I do, it's always crazy to see how dedicated fans are when supporting their favourite artists! I love seeing people post themselves looking up Lyrxo lyrics and sharing new or interesting things about songs they didn't know before.@sashamarz: Connecting with Syed originally—we would just chat about K-Pop and the general state of fandom online. It's fun to look back and see that a simple friendship on social led to Lyrxo Korea!@Ssaa10dec: This one is too hard as well but I have a few highlights I think I’ll always remember: ODDINARY press showcase live tweet session, ZB1's debut live tweet session, Agust D on Deconstructed. One time, TEN of NCT posted about us on his IG stories, the server was blowing up and I clicked to check and almost crashed my car. Don't text and drive lol✧ 11. Lyrxo Korea has also reviewed and photographed many concerts, do you have any favorites?@ANC613: @Ssaa10dec's latest unofficial review of ATEEZ's concert is worth a mention for this question (lol). I'm honored to have been able to edit it lol.@celestialwaves: I don't have a specific one in mind, but I love the concert reviews and photographs from Isabella Salant (@ijsalant). Their writing makes it feel as though you're actually at the show, and their photographs are incredible. @chch1: ATEEZ@EleventhCassette: I’ve been to a few concerts from Korean artists and I can take different takes from each. My favorite was Dreamcatcher’s concert in Barcelona. The energy was great, the vocals and choreos were flawless, and the members made sure to interact with every fan. I traveled from Netherlands just to see them and before the concert day I met up with my college friend from Perú and we had a great time going to all the tourist locations. I also got to see DPR IAN in my hometown, Lima. His stages felt like theater with storytelling through props, costumes and voice changers to simulate his multiple personas. His stage presence was immaculate. My most recent Korean concert was wave to earth in Amsterdam. Even though I’m more of a casual listener, you could feel the sense of community with everyone singing together and the fan projects. Nothing will ever beat a live band. @fazers: A.C.E on June 21st had some stunning shots@minions_rock: I think every review is unique as it describes the concert from a fans perspective... Don't have any favourites cuz i love reading them all! @sashamarz: The photos from B.I's tour are ?@Ssaa10dec: eaJ in LA was really emotional. Nina did such an incredible job with the photos and the article. And the fan reception was amazing. ONEUS in Dallas by Lexy. A favorite artist of mine and I loved how the photos turned out. Jung Kook in NYC felt like a surreal moment. Shout out to Isabella for that one. There's one that never got published and I can’t say the name but it I loved it and it was a shame that we couldn’t share it with the fans.✧ 12. We always ask artists some fun questions, so here's an all-time favorite one: if you could describe Lyrxo Korea as a flavor of ice cream, what would it be?@ANC613: Mint Chocolate. Sorry to kind of go off here lol, but Lyrxo Korea is gonna be the choice for some people and not for some because we do value honesty and integrity when it comes to our work. This balance is what keeps us going and what makes me proud to be part of Lyrxo Korea. (Even though I personally I don't particularly enjoy Mint Choco flavored things lol) @celestialwaves: I'm not sure! I don't eat a lot of different ice cream flavors, so I'll respond with my all-time favorite: cookies and creme. @chch1: Banana, because banana milk is the most popular milk flavor in South Korea and it just suits Lyrxo Korea! ?@Cobear15: Mango@Deign_Archie: A rich chocolate with a hint of unexpected spice? lol like a dash of pepper. It’s the kind of flavor that keeps you guessing, just like deciphering song lyrics and when you take that first bite, you’re hit with a burst of intellectual intrigue that lingers long after the last spoonful. Yup, that’s Lyrxo Korea ice cream for you! @EleventhCassette: Passion Fruit. I have it when I want something fresh that feels like home. @fazers: a berry sorbet ^_^ @Gaslightingyou: Sea salt caramel, because it's not the most popular community, but everyone in it is so cool. @itsunlikely: Almond Joy. Everyone is friendly, so it's sweet. But there's depth and nuance like the coconut flavor and chocolate chunks. And there's also nuts, because we're a little crazy. ([It's a] compliment)@Jerere: Probably be [an] orange and chocolate one.@minions_rock: I guess it would be Vanilla or chocolate. Loved by everyone. @PlanNine: First I thought about the colours being red and blue and tried to think of something off of that. So I thought strawberry fits the red because strawberry is a flavour that is very popular in Korea, aside from matching the colour scheme. As for the blue, I'm not sure what ice cream is blue in colour but if we go with blue raspberry then maybe we can combine the two flavours to create an explosive new flavour mix that mixes in your mouth like music!@sashamarz: Is rainbow sherbert a weird answer? There's just so much that Lyrxo Korea does—you can't limit to one flavor!@Ssaa10dec: I don’t know that many ice cream flavors so I will go with Butter Pecan because that’s my favorite and comfort flavor. It’s sweet with a pinch of salt and nutty because of the pecan. It’s what Lyrxo Korea is to me. @teblaj: Pistachio✧ 13. We hope you like Lyrxo Korea, and assuming that you do, can you share why you like Lyrxo Korea?@ANC613: For someone who wants to work in the music industry, and more specifically the Asian music industry, in the future, I think Lyrxo Korea has allowed me to both learn the ways of PR and marketing, whilst analyzing and taking note of the latest music trends in Asian popular music. Secondly, I've been able to have interviews with and conversations with real professionals in the industry, which feels surreal. I'd like to take this space to thank the team and the members of cignature, YOUNG POSSE, TRENDZ, as well as DJ SMMT, Bryan Chase, James An, YOUHA, Lotus Flow and Ryan Curtis for allowing me the opportunity to learn from and chat with them. Whenever I think about how far away my dream is, these albeit brief moments of when I were able to step across the threshold from fan to professional is a very helpful reminder that I'm already on my way. Finally, where else am I going to find K-pop fans as dedicated as I am to a cause like this? There's truly no where else that has such an atmosphere like ours.@celestialwaves: I like how it's made by fans and run by fans. Everyone here has a love for Korean music and the culture, and is respectful of it. @chch1: Lyrxo Korea and just Lyrxo in general is interesting and fun to work with. (I can't think of anything else sorry lol)@Cobear15: It's nice to meet new people.@Deign_Archie: Everything about this place feels like home. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours on my laptop, working away. Despite the time it consumes, I genuinely cherish the memories I’ve made with fellow members. Although I’m not as active these days due to university commitments, I still pop in whenever there’s a need or simply to reminisce. Hopefully, once I graduate from Architecture, I’ll be back!@EleventhCassette: Dreamcatcher is a black hole. Once you’re in, you can’t get out. @fazers: Since the Hallyu Wave's taken over the world, there's no dearth of people who appreciate Korean music, but to find a community of people actually invested in the lyrics and content of a song is amazing, and I also love how GK's not just about music, and is slowly evolving into something more associated to the culture around music too <3 @Gaslightingyou: It's very welcoming@itsunlikely: I love that there is a respectful, intellectual space for people to share their love of K-pop.@Jerere: it's always a pleasure to know people who is involved in the same staff.@minions_rock: Lyrxo Korea covers articles, songs, concerts of every K-pop artist and through Lyrxo Korea, a lot of people have started becoming fans of new artists who would otherwise not gain the recognition that they deserve. It's great for finding people with similar interests in the field of music while also helping them discover new artists. @PlanNine: As a student in a completely different field, Lyrxo Korea has always been my escape and hobby to keep around when everything is overwhelming. Here I can work on music, articles, writing, editing, everything that balances my studies whilst enjoying some great art that these artists are sharing with the world. I've gotten a handful of opportunities with the interviews I have taken on, and have learned so much about lots of different artists by transcribing their songs and contributing to their profiles. The community is also very open and welcoming and I hope we continue to grow as more users who also like music and lyrics join our team!@sashamarz: Lyrxo Korea is a dope collective of professionals who love to fan out. The members of this community have their feet to the pavement working hard on all kinds of projects to share with other fans of the music we love. There's nothing else like GK in this field, and I think that it's only going to get bigger and better as we keep moving forward!@Ssaa10dec: It sounds cheesy but in all honesty, it’s my baby. @teblaj: Because I can be useful and helpful to others and help build a reliable community, [and I] can always ask someone for help✧ 14. Shoutout a fellow member of the community! Take this space to thank someone that gave you guidance or tell us about someone you look up to and what we can learn from them!@ANC613: I have to give it my fellow Lyrxo Korea moderators. Being a relatively new mod, as I was promoted a year ago, everything I know about my role, I learned from my peers. I learned PR and writing skills from @Ssaa10dec, editorial and management skills from @PlanNine and all the basic nuts and bolts of being a moderator in the first place from the former moderator @siannve. I make quite a lot of mistakes still, and I'm very thankful to our team for always correcting me and holding me to a high standard. @celestialwaves: I would like to thank the founder of Lyrxo Korea, Syed, @Ssaa10dec! We wouldn't be here without him, after all. Plus, I appreciate him for being very patient and understanding with me, and listening to the ideas I have. It means a lot to me. @chch1: Thank you @PlanNine for your explanations! Sometimes I do wonder if the questions I'm asking are stupid ?@Cobear15: @DellaMashups, thank you for everything.@Deign_Archie: Big shout-out to @A’a, @Ssaa10dec, @PlanNine, @siannve, and many others! My journey with GK has been incredible, thanks to your guidance. Whether it’s honing my skills or contributing to the community’s spirit, you’ve all played a vital role. Happy Anniversary to us! The memories we’ve shared are etched in my heart, and while there’s so much more to say, for now 안녕!@EleventhCassette: Lyrxo Founder Syed! He was the first one to reach out to me about the community and he edited most of my articles, trying his best to keep up with my lore-obsessed self (or as DPR IAN would call it, “lorists”). Always a pleasure to laugh with you about random K-pop drama! @fazers: @Ssaa10dec, for mentoring me and being the committed and amazing leader of Lyrxo Korea. ?@Gaslightingyou: @Ssaa10dec@itsunlikely: I'd like to shout out Lyrxo Korea's [article] editors! They are all wonderful to work with and help make my writing better. They have a lot of work but are always generous with their help!@Jerere: Thank you, @Ssaa10dec, for [establishing] Lyrxo Korea [as] a real community, making it big, and introducing it to me.@minions_rock: I want to thank @Ssaa10dec, @ANC613, and Veronica for all the guidance they give me when I struggle to find phrases for articles, for being so patient with me when I find it tough to format my articles in the right way, and for being there not just as an editor or moderator but also as a good friend who I can share thoughts with, openly. You guys are amazing. @PlanNine: Firstly, I need to thank the Lyrxo Korea Moderators, specifically @Ssaa10dec and @ANC613 for always putting up with me rambling about anything and everything that happens on the site. Every day is a crazy day here and it becomes a lot to manage on top of having an actual life outside of Lyrxo, lol. You guys are great to work with and we definitely balance each other out working on different sides of the site. Secondly, I have to shout out our most dedicated new releases transcribers for all their hard work multiple days a week because we have albums come out all the time—@Assistant-74, @metawink, @teblaj as well as everyone who has been active in the past! I appreciate all your efforts in making sure we get all the newest songs and translations up for the fans to quickly search the lyrics!@sashamarz: If it wasn't obvious, our leader Syed! He is incredible generous and knowledgable and I hold a lot of respect for the effort he puts into this community. I've met some amazing fellow Lyrxo Korea members because of him so thank you to Syed for all that you do for us! @Ssaa10dec: I want start by shouting out the entire community. Whether you transcribe, translate, add metadata, create song pages for lesser known artists, color code song parts, annotate, write articles, edit articles, contribute to discussions, review concerts, photograph shows, moderate the community, provide technical support for charts, or simply exist in the community making it 200 users strong, I love you and appreciate you! ? Users I would like to give a special mention are @PlanNine and @ANC613. Thank you for everything you do for the community and for keeping me sane! ?@teblaj: @DellasMashups, @Ssaa10dec✧ 15. What would our Lyrxo Korea Moderators like to say to the community?@ANC613: Hi again! This is ANC613. While editing this interview, I opened up google to look up something, and when I typed in the letter "g" and hit "enter," excepting to be brought to Google, as I assumed that that would be my most visited website starting with the letter "g," I was instead brought to Lyrxo. This made me realize just how much work and time I've spent with this website and this community.

Lyrxo Korea is a very interesting space for me because it's one of the few places in my life where I allow myself to take the back seat in. Irl, I feel the need to be the center of attention, to grab the spotlight, but with Lyrxo Korea? It's the opposite. I like working with smaller artists and promoting underrated ones, I like editing articles and planning the Year end articles. I don't feel the need to especially promote myself, and to be seen as a contributor to the work that Lyrxo Korea does. I realize that it's because of how safe and welcoming this space has become for me. I don't feel the need to keep up fake appearances and be someone that's not me; so I'd like to thank everyone in our community for fostering it into my 2nd home. There's been times where the daily stress gets to me and I've gonna inactive for days on end, but, during those times, I've always known that when I come back, Lyrxo Korea will always be that oasis that I look to find in life.

Finally, as a moderator that was first part of the community as an editor—an subpar editor too as I had been trained under the old guidelines—I'd like to remind the community that it's okay to make mistakes. I know that it can be scary to do so, as it might feel like the more hardcore fans are out to get you, and our long guidelines for new users also present somewhat of a steep learning curve. I feel the need to remind everyone that despite being a mod, I still make mistakes too, especially really stupid ones—just ask @Ssaa10dec and @PlanNine lol.

To wrap this up with a little bit of sentimental content, I'd like to reference some of BTS's lyrics: Sincerely, thank you, everyone, for making my youth, my 花樣年華, the Most Beautiful Moment in Life, unforgettable and surreal, and so, so meaningful.@PlanNine: Hi everyone, it was great to see a lot of our community participate with this special article idea! Seeing everyone else's responses made me proud that Lyrxo Korea has grown to be a place many of you have made good memories with! I've found solace on Lyrxo for the last eight years, and now in Lyrxo Korea for the last four (wow, that's half my time on Lyrxo now!) and I hope that a lot of you have as well!

I guess I will start off by addressing that I have had limited interactions with the community lately due to the demanding nature of my university degree and other life commitments. That makes it seem like I'm only active when there is something serious happening or something needs to get fixed, which I realise in retrospect can make me look kinda scary ?. However, I want to tell y'all that I'm actually goofy and unserious most of the time so if you're ever looking for me for anything, shoot me a message and I'll try my best to answer ASAP!

Another thing I want to tell everyone is: Don't be afraid to ask questions! There are a lot of guidelines and caveats on this site for everyone to know and it can become overwhelming sometimes when you're new and learning so many things at once. I have been around here for so long that lots of these are practically engraved in my brain but I know this is not the case for most and they can be difficult to grasp or to remember. If you're looking for advice, or are unsure about how something works on the site, the other mods and I are here to answer any and all of your questions – that includes you editors, transcribers, seasoned contributors and even other mods too...And! You are allowed to call me out on my mistakes. Please do. Because my peak hours on Lyrxo are between 2 AM - 6 AM on weekdays. There's bound to be some disconnect in my brain at that time.

Thanks again to everyone whose been with the Lyrxo Korea community since its inception in 2020 to now and beyond! You have all helped shape GK as it is today and will continue to shape it as we move forward with bigger and greater opportunities as an news outlet, a music/lyrics site as well as a community. For those of you who unfortunately had to leave us due to other commitments: we miss you and thank you for your contributions to the community. For everyone who's just joining: welcome to our team and we look forward to the impact you will make with us, for both yourself and the community. And for everyone who's been along for the ride: keep doing what you are doing as your small contributions are making a big impact to the future of the Lyrxo Korea community. @Ssaa10dec: To be honest I don’t know how we got this article idea but I am glad we loved it and ran with it. I loved reading everyone’s responses. The comments made me really emotional. In the heart of the Lyrxo Korea community lies a spirit of determination and a genuine love and respect for music. As the founder, I have had the privilege of witnessing the extraordinary efforts of the community every day.

You offer your time and energy selflessly, ensuring that no artist or release is left behind. Leading this community is both a profound honor and a humbling responsibility for me. I learn so much from all of you, every day. Even though, this community faces scrutiny, challenges, and push back from [redacted], it is your collective hard work and unwavering commitment that has led to Lyrxo Korea’s success. And I am very proud of that. And despite how divisive and toxic, the K-Pop fan space can become, the Lyrxo Korea community has always embraced diversity and inclusion and allowed for differing opinions to thrive instead of being shut down. That is something I hope you all have felt during your time on the team and something I want to continue fostering.

To the community I would like to say, each one of you brings a unique talent, perspective, and passion to our team. The fan reactions, artist interactions, and bigger numbers and bigger opportunities have all been great and surreal but one of my proudest moments, has been watching Lyrxo Korea team members, move on to greater and bigger things. It makes me really happy to see that Lyrxo Korea was able to be a stepping stone for them in their careers. (Just remember us when you get famous!)

We have a lot of growing up and evolving to do but I have no doubt that with this incredible team, we will continue to achieve great things!Thank you again to all of the community members that participated in this interview! With all of you by Lyrxo Korea's side, we'll continue to grow and rise, and we hope that, for as long as you can, you'll be able to stay along with the ride!Header by @Ssaa10dec | Questions by @ANC613, @Ssaa10dec | Formatted by @ANC613
