Understand - so many hurting, flirting with death and slowly closing the curtain on hope to find a better way, a brighter light and darker days
Strike the spark to start, and burn a bluer blaze
Maybe we missed it, but, ah, what if we didn't
These drums maybe the difference that's needed for when it's up
So I dedicated my body to be the sacrifice living, and to be the copy-write written to raise dead
And the corse shed led by beat, sweat and tears can be the beacon they seeking, when something has gotta give
