Growing up in poverty
With empty eyes and no food to eat
While I wonder why
Thousands more have died
O God, it's overwhelming
So many desperate lives
Help me see them all
Through Your eyes
Where every single one has a name
And every time they cry
You feel their pain
Broken and bleeding
Abandoned and needing Your love
To reach them where they are
Lord, let me play a part
To bring a life the hope for change

Unanswered prayers
Poured out to foreign gods
Who never hear, 'cause no one's there
Living, dying souls
How will they ever know
That You came to save them?
